President of Siam Technology College
President Pornphisud received both a B.A. (1993) and an M.S. (1994) in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan. Later, he earned a Masters in Education from Harvard University in 2000 and a Masters in Research in Education from the University of Cambridge (U.K.) in 2003. He is currently a doctoral candidate at Cambridge.
Along with his responsibilities as President of STC, he also plays an active role at both Siam Institute of Technology and Siam University. He serves on several boards, including The Internet Society of Thailand (ISOC), IEEE Thailand Chapter, and ACM Thailand Chapter.
Bruce Veldhuisen, B.Sc., M.B.A., Ph.D.
Lecturer, Director of International Partnerships
Dr. Bruce Veldhuisen is an entrepreneur and an educational innovator. He is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of TEFL International and was previously the Course Director of language schools and TESOL courses in Hong Kong and Thailand for eight years before founding the world’s largest teacher training institute and becoming a well-known name in the industry.
Dr. Veldhuisen holds a Bachelor of Science in International Relations and Economics from Brigham Young University, a Master in Business Administration from Portland State University, and is a certified Trinity College London Teacher. He furthered his higher education with Bangkok School of Management, receiving a Doctor of Philosophy in Education Degree from the European Global School in Paris, France.
Dr. Veldhuisen is committed to growth and helping others, but maintains a down-to-earth approach that keeps him personally involved with programs and customers. He is the Director of International Programs at Siam Technology College.
Ulrich Werner, M.B.I., M.B.A.
Lecturer, Director of International Development
Ulrich holds a Master of Business Informatics and a Master of Business Administration from FOM University (UAS) in Essen, Germany, as well as over 20 Prefessional Development Certificates from top universities around the world. After careers as an entrepreneur and in adult education in Germany, and in management and industry research in Germany and Switzerland, Ulrich moved to Thailand in 2002 to teach in international higher education programs at Ramkhamhaeng University’s Institute of International Studies (IIS-RU) until 2018.
In addition, he completed teaching and administrative assignments at Asian University, Burapha University, National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA), and Thammasat University. Over the recent years, he also organized or co-organized the Summer Universities at Asian University and Bangkok University.
In 2001, he published, with his thesis-supervising professor named co-author, the book ‘Schutz vor Rechtsproblemen im Internet – Handbuch für deutsche Unternehmen’, in English ‘Protection from legal Problems on the Internet – Handbook for German Organizations’ at Springer Germany. In 2004, he presented about ‘Balancing Globalisation and Localisation’ to the SEAMEO-UNESCO Education Conference in Bangkok. Since 2008, Ulrich runs the Web site https://studyinthailand.org to attract foreign students to Thailand, and to attract Thai students to international programs. Since then, the site attracted over 1.2m unique visitors according to Google Analytics (2018).
Kulajit (Rita) Khaneeyor, M.A.
Lecturer, B.A. TESOL Program Manager
Kulajit (Rita) Khaneeyor is the B.A. TESOL Program Manager. Rita graduated from Srinakharinwirot University, Bangkok, with a Masters degree in TEFL. She has a 10-year background in teaching English and worked as an Assistant Director and School Manager for international schools in Bangkok. She thrives in a challenging environment and enjoys meeting new students from across the globe.
Bryce Hunter, B.A.
Bryce Hunter is the Admissions Counsellor for international programs at Siam Technology College. He has been working for TEFL International and the international programs at Siam Technology College for three years now.
Justin Mark Iringan, B.B.A.
Justin supports our marketing activities with focus on social media marketing. He runs our Filipino Facebook presence in Tagalok and English and a Facebook group for Filipino students who study or want to study in Thailand. Besides, he studies in our B.A. TESOL program.
Makara (Mark) Nhem
Mark, as everybody calls him, is a student in our Lamar University Tri-Continent Degree Program. He is also an internship student in social media marketing and runs our Cambodian Facebook presence in Khmer and English and a Facebook group for Cambodian students who study or want to study in Thailand.
